Article Abstract:
There are a variety of reading resources available to teachers of undergraduate economics. An example is Richard Nelson's 'How New Is New Growth Theory?,' which asserts that the new concepts of economic growth theory are not really new. Meanwhile, Rebecca M. Blank tackles the issues of unemployment and wage declines in 'Is There a Trade-Off Between Unemployment and Inequality?' Teachers of undergraduate economics might also find Frank Ackerman's 'Consumed in Theory: Alternative Perspectives on the Economics of Consumption' a big help.
