Reinsuring risk to increase access to health insurance
Article Abstract:
Three distinct health-insurance markets in which people can obtain health insurance, and the special nature of competition among insurance companies in the non-group market is described. It is emphasized that the efficiency in the non-group health-insurance market would be improved if the government reinsured the market.

Price and spouse's coverage in employee demand for health insurance
Article Abstract:
The reasons for the change in employee behavior and decline in health insurance coverage of employee are discussed. Evidences provide that price matters in the take-up decisions of full time married workers and that part of the decline in take-up in recent years may be attributed to the increasing cost of insurance.
