Retail prices during a change in monetary regimes: evidence from Sears, Roebuck catalogs, 1938-1951
Article Abstract:
Micro-level price dynamics prior to and after the establishment of the Bretton Woods monetary regime is examined. Price data from the Sears, Roebuck and Company catalog reveals that the average length between nominal changes is two years.

Small price changes and menu costs
Article Abstract:
The average price change of varying products in a store in a given month is not small. There is a tendency for a larger average price change for remaining products when there is a small price change for an individual product.
