Tackling the European migration problem
Article Abstract:
Immigrants appear to imply lower social welfare and increased social tensions in the face of substantial unemployment levels. The specter of a continued increase in unemployment due to immigration is the essence of the migration problem in Europe. Labor market issues and effects on the natives as perceived by western Europe are examined and the historical pattern of migration are examined.
