The Bermuda Triangle: why self-governed firms work for their own destruction
Article Abstract:
The complexities involved in the privatization program in Poland and the problems involved of state firms in this situation were examined. This analysis involves characterization of the historical background, its micro and macro levels and the moral/ethical ramifications of the present pprivatization policy in Poland. It was found that various parties with vested interests are adversely affecting the program. This must be remedied before the enterprises for privatization are destroyed.

Progress with privatization
Article Abstract:
The different aspects in the relation of efficiency and distribution issues in the transfer of social capital into private ownership were examined. Cases for swift privatization involving market socialism and neoclassical ditribution were cited. It was found that allocating shares to private citizens, instead of privatization by direct sale, would afford a more efficient ownership assignment.
