Opposing viewpoints from two prominent economists are presented regarding whether the United Kingdom should adopt the euro. The participants are Willem Buiter of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, who argues the pro position, and Patrick Minford of the Cardiff Business School, who argues the con position.
