The economic future of Europe
Article Abstract:
A more optimistic assessment is presented where the earlier performance of Europe is substantially perceived. It is predicted that Europe would not converge to the United States model and that the European model would deliver more generous social insurance than in the U.S.

Are delays in academic publishing necessary?
Article Abstract:
The repercussions of time delays and submission costs on publishing of academic articles are discussed and suggestions are offered to reduce these so that more papers are published. The need to maintain quality is the prime reason for such delays.
