Exporting, ownership and confidence in Tanzanian enterprises
Article Abstract:
The entry of trade liberalization in Tanzania resulted in the export activity of partly state-owned companies, the so-called parastatals. The fact that these companies did export attests to their overall good manufacturing performances. It is believed that the availability of foreign investments bode well for the future of manufacturing industries in Tanzania. Such a capital infusion will also promote the full privatization of the parastatals.
