The measurement of dynamic productive efficiency
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to develop a model of dynamic technical efficiency by generalizing the concept of static efficiency advocated by M.J. Farrell. The adjustment cost approach was utilized to formulate the generalization. Results indicated that the technique of adjustment costs supports the function of incremental inputs with current inputs and different types of adaptive behavior on the part of companies.
