The most technologically progressive decade of the century
Article Abstract:
A hypothesis suggesting that the years 1929-1941 were the most technologically progressive years in the United States' economic history is presented and the reasons for the same are examined. It may be noted that the period was fraught with depression, low production and low incomes.

Can mandated political representation increase policy influence for disadvantaged minorities? Theory and evidence from India
Article Abstract:
A study of the effects of the constitutional mandate for representation of minorities in the political arena is presented. The study is based on the situation prevailing in India. The moral and economic advantages of uplifting downtrodden in any country are also discussed.
