The state, level of development, and basic forms of integration in the Russian economy
Article Abstract:
The basic problems with the Russian economy resulting from economic transition are analyzed. The need to develop an internal market and interregional economic relations amongst the commonwealth of independent states is examined. The problems associated with laws and industrial policies are also scrutinized. The measures that should be taken to resolve these problems are discussed.

On the role of regional government in the development of trade relations between Russian regions and CIS member countries
Article Abstract:
The trade relations between regions in Russia and the other commonwealth of independent states formed after the disintegration of the erstwhile U.S.S.R are examined. The role that the regional governments can play in developing trade relations amongst these transition economies is also examined.
