U.S. sanctions on Iran: how long will they last?
Article Abstract:
Prospects for improving US-Iraq trade relations appear promising, as newly-elected Pres Mohammad Khatami looks forward to easing economic tension with US Pres Bill Clinton. Aside from engaging in international sports competitions, both parties are currently enjoying increased cultural and travel interaction. Experts believe these measures would eventually lift severe restrictions embodied in Executive Order 13059 and Iran-Libya Sanctions Act of 1996, otherwise called D'Amato Act. These set of sanctions were imposed to curb Iran aggression.
