Women's bodycare products
Article Abstract:
The women's bodycare product market grew in value by 31% in the five years to 1998 to reach 165 million pounds sterling. The biggest growth area was in hand creams followed by exfoliants and body scrubs. Increasing usage of bodycare routines will continue to fuel growth, but the ageing population will also be an important factor. Many companies are devoting resources to the development of anti-cellulite products. The current market is seasonal, related to exposure of more skin in hot weather and to cold in winter, and heavily influenced by media articles.
