A faith that crucifies women
Article Abstract:
Theologian, Daphne Hampson, is about to publish 'After Christianity', which investigates male religion. The books follows research into continental philosophy based on French feminist and psychoanalaytic theory. Hampson suggests that Christian mythology has been created to ensure male superiority over women. Hampson abandoned Christianity in 1981, and is currently senior lecturer in divinity at St Andrew's University.
