A life-enhancing tool or a brain-bashing device?
Article Abstract:
Virtual reality (VR) involves risks such as eye-strain, nausea and vertigo if there is a mismatch between motion cues and visual stimuli. Adrenalin may be raised while the body is inactive which is linked to obesity and high cholesterol levels. VR can make war seem bloodless and gives new meanings to issues of morality and privacy, in addition to affecting identity. VR can be life-enhancing but can also be a type of imprisonment and brainwashing.

Break up brings surreal sadness
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning the auction of the studio and archive of Andre Breton, a surrealist poet, and the campaign to save the collection are examined. It is argued that by being auctioned, an unique collection is being destroyed, with an entire aesthetic and intellectual world being lost forever.
