A marriage heading for failure; the Republicans' embrace of traditional morality
Article Abstract:
The Republicans have represented themselves as the party of 'family values' in the 1992 Presidential electoral campaign. These values have always been strong in America as a result of its diverse cultures. Fifty percent of marriages now end in divorce, and 23% of families with children are one-parent. Male unemployment rise has led to more women going out to work.

Market morality; the provision of business ethics teaching in Britain and Europe
Article Abstract:
Business ethics began to be taught in the US which still leads the field. In Britain government emphasis on the private sector's involvement in training and creating jobs has led to calls for ethics to be included on business school syllabuses. European business schools have well-established courses.
