Post-92s slam 'very biased' RAE successor
Article Abstract:
New universities have rejected government porposals to replace the RAE, claiming that the mertics models put forward would damage emerging research areas and new researchers. The lobby group for post-92 institutions, Campaigning for Mainstream Universities, has joined the Russell Group and 1994 Group of universities in opposing the use of metrics for judging research quality.
