Advice for academics and university teachers on how to attract potential students to their courses. Tips include: remember that it nobody is ever too young to start learning about the subject you teach: foster links with careers officers and teachers in your subject at secondary schools: copy marketing techniques from outside higher education: and be both active towards getting students and reactive towards their needs.
