Daycare for all - are you kidding?
Article Abstract:
An analysis of the ways in which the idea of providing daycare for the children of students is taken by universities and colleges in a number of countries. It is argued that god, affordable childcare services are vital to students who are also parents. Countries examined include Austria, France, Russia, Netherlands, Spain, Canada and Venezuela.

A better life for those in the 100 club

The Institute of Longevity has been established by French scientist Etienne-Emile Baulieu to find ways of improving the quality of life for the aging population of France and other countries. As more people are living to be over 100, he hopes to find ways to combat the degenerative effects of aging.
