Article Abstract:
The Royal Shakespeare Company's (RSC) edition of William Shakespeare's works is attempting to interpret the supposedly intended meaning of several of his expressions and language. The recreation of his original 'linguistic exuberance', lost in edited 'proper' versions of his works in the 18th century, reveal the hidden and hilarious sexual language and slang used by Shakespeare.
