In-depth research indicates that about 40% of the new generation of young adults are products of divorce. As a consequence, most of them are individualistic, self-absorbed and freedom-minded. They lack the loyalty and commitment the previous generation had and are apt to venture on their own.

The real generation gap

Statistics show that the generation gap has widened considerably in the 1990s. Nowhere is this gap more evident than in knowledge, skills, work, critical thinking and morality. It is therefore necessary for parents to take a proactive role in addressing this gap.
