Graduate tax widely opposed
Article Abstract:
The British government is considering a graduate tax which has been met with staunch opposition from figures in higher education. The issue of differential fees was met with both support and opposition, causing Lord Baker to remark that the funding debate was now in a state of confusion. The education sector has demonstrated a need for more funding, a need that has thus far been been unsatisfied.
