Review finds Oxford Brookes 'deficient'

A group of over 30 students who are seeking tens of thousands of pounds worth of compensation from Oxford Brookes University after the university failed to gain professional accreditation for their vocational osteopathy degree have received a boost to their case after an independent review was critical of the college. Oxford Brookes had rejected complaints from the students that it had failed in its duty of care and in its contractual obligations but an independent review of the conclusions reached by the university's complaints committee has found that key aspects of the findings were "unreasonable".
