Human nature totally explained
Article Abstract:
The Darwin seminars held at the London School of Economics have played a significant role as a public relations tool for sociobiology, which states that human nature is all in the genes. The new Darwinians believe that evolutionary psychology, which indicates that it is necessary to understand the evolution of the human mind in order to fully understand it, can abolish the worst excesses of human sociobiology as it was presented in the 1970s. It is correct that evolution is now beginning to feature in psychology textbooks, but it is not yet in a position to transform the entire discipline.

Article Abstract:
Evolutionary psychologists believe that Darwinism can give an insight into elements of human behaviour. They focus on traits shared by all humans, regarding these traits as evolved adaptations to a pre-agricultural way of life. The Darwin seminars at the London School of Economics have played an important role in making the general public aware of the first wave of evolutionary psychology. They have also revived expectations among ordinary people that science should assist in understanding human nature.
