Lib Dems rethink degrees
Article Abstract:
The Liberal Democrats are considering plans to restructure the way students at universities in the UK get their degrees as part of an analysis of the party's education policy. One plan under consideration would allow students to study at a variety of universities as they acquire the credits they require to earn their degree.

An analysis of education policy and the role that education has to play in sustainable development. It is argued that education policy in the UK is behind other countries when it comes to sustainable development and that this is where the focus needs to lie, rather than on issues such as variable fees.
