Is it right to refuse to teach a racist?
Article Abstract:
Issues relating to the argument about whether or not teachers and academics in the United Kingdom should have the right to refuse to teach students that they believe to be racists or members of right-wing parties are examined. While groups such as Natfhe, lecturer's union, believe that lecturers have the right to decide who they will or won't teach, others argue that this is just a form of political correctness and it in fact amounts to a curtailing of the freedom of speech.
