Is the party of protest any closer to power?
Article Abstract:
An analysis of the 2004 Liberal Democrat party conference and the advances that the party has made in recent times. While many Liberal Democrat party members believe that they could become the official party of opposition in the UK at the next election, overtaking the Conservative Party, a note of caution is sounded, pointing out the false dawns that have occurred for the party in the past.
