Proofreading services are offering to proofread students' essays, reports, dissertations and other professional documents for a specified charge, which would enable an increase in their grades. But this would lead to doubt about the genuineness of students' literacy and presentation in academics' minds, while also unfairly enabling wealthy students purchase higher grades for their professionally proofread work.
