Article Abstract:
An analysis of whether the increased use of multiple choice exams is the key to maintaining the standards of educational assessment in an environment where the level of participation and the workload of examiners is increasing. It is argued that, so long as the questions are properly written, there is no reason why multiple choice tests should not be used more frequently in higher education.
