Article Abstract:
The Joint Information Systems Committee (Jisc) plans to launch its Online Repository for (Learning and Teaching) Materials (Jorum) from autumn 2005. The aim of Jorum is to allow satff in further and higher education to share learning and teaching resources free of charge. The service will allow academics belonging to colleges or universities that have deposit and subscription licences for Jorum to deposit material, with the academic acknowledged as the original author.

A worst-case scenario that gets worse
Article Abstract:
An analysis of the ability of university incident teams to deal with accidents that result in the injury or death of students. A real-time construction of such an incident run by Boldbrackenridge, a training and consultancy firm, is used as a case-study of the sort of issues that the incident teams might have to deal with in the event of an accident.
