The Australian government's aim to make the country a global multimedia player is being led by Alan Stockdale, the world's first multimedia minister. It is envisaged that Victoria, Australia, will become a multimedia hub, with universities and industry collaborating to commercialize multimedia products and to create a multimedia infrastructure.
