Liberal with the ink
Article Abstract:
William Gladstone was UK prime minister in the late 19th century. He was a prolific writer and donated his papers to Britain. He kept a diary during his period in office and his diaries also record his rescue work carried out with prostitutes. Over 20,500 people are metioned in his diaries, and he also mentions reading over 17,500 books by over 5,000 writers. Technological progress should save time for researchers in his papers but more capital may also be needed.
