Article Abstract:
A profile of David Wilkinson, lecturer in theology and science at Durham University, theoretical astrophysicist and expert in the spirituality of the Star Wars movies. Wilkinson, who can attract audiences of over 1,000 when he lectures on the spirituality of Star Wars and his best-selling book on the subject, argues that one of the failings of the Christian Church is its apparent inability to make sympathetic connections with popular culture, thereby appearing irrelevant to a large number of people.
