Article Abstract:
United Kingdom Department for Education and Employment Policymaker Judy Sebba points out teachers do not always utilize educational research whereas policymakers question the suitability of some research. Sebba has been employed to create a policy on educational research, as part of the Labour government unit looking into standards in schools. She has to persuade teachers, policymakers and researchers the relevance of good quality research. Sebba has a background in research for special needs and she previously worked as the Director of Research at a school of education.
