Religion and world politics: foreign policy in perspective
Article Abstract:
The US Congress' attempt in 1998 to establish an office in the State Dept to monitor religious persecution created concerns over the relationship between religion and American foreign policy. Questions have been raised on the clarity of the notion of persecution used as a criterion for foreign policy.

Law and foreign policy: creating a legal culture
Article Abstract:
American foreign policy cannot easily realize the emergence and promotion of rule-of-law as a solution to world problems because of the changes associated with the attitudes of elites and masses. The success of rule-of-law reform is also hindered by corruption and cynicism.
