Speaking your mind
Article Abstract:
Language allows migrations to be traced and linguistic diversity enriches specch and poetry. Language was said to affect perception, but this is not as simple as first appeared. Adults lose the ability to distinguish and produce sounds if they do not hear and use them in their language. Differences in perception are subtle and deeply rooted. They are not due to language as such, and are more related to different customs in different societies.
