The evidence is there, so let's make use of it
Article Abstract:
University managers need to do what university students are expected to do when preparing essays, that is use evidence to support their conclusions. It is suggested that many university managers neglect to make use of evidence because of a combination of a belief that they know better than the knowledge and experience that has already been gathered and a fear that the evidence might not actually support long-held prejudices and beliefs.
