The lecture louts vs the academy's faithful
Article Abstract:
A professor in the School of Computing at Teeside University relates his experiences of the changing behaviour of students, contending that more and more of them are boorish, lazy and arrogant and that their behaviour is damaging all aspects of university life. He argues that while some students are just as good if not better than they have ever been and acknowledges that non-traditional students who have had to work hard to get to university are interested and prepared to help out, the majority of students who have progressed straight from school are ill-prepared and not fit for university life.
