US rage at textbook price hike

Rising costs of university textbooks after multinational firms gained almost-monopolies on the business has started to anger state legislature and the US Congress along with students and parents. Dave Rosenfield, coordinator of the Student Public Interest Research Group's (PIRG) Campaign for Affordable Textbooks, has said that textbook prices have rocketed and the publication of new editions has speeded up.
