Unions gear up to sell deal to staff
Article Abstract:
Union bosses face an uphill struggle to sell the 13.1 percent pay deal to members amid indications that the agreement reached with employers has fallen short of expectations. Some academics are questioning why union bosses have settled for a deal far below the original 23 percent pay claim intended to allow academic salaries to catch up with those of comparable professionals.
