Why an ideology received its marching orders..
Article Abstract:
The professor of sociology at the University of California, Los Angeles, argues that, while 60 years after the end of World War II the term "Fascist" is still used as a form of abuse, in actuality fascism in its real form is dead. The forms that fascism took in the early part of the 20th century are examined and the beliefs of various groups and parties that are commonly now called fascist are also examined in relation to true fascist dogma.

The rise of occidental heroes and villains
Article Abstract:
An analysis of occidentalism, or the study of Western culture, in the Arab and Asian worlds and how occidental studies are perceived by many thinkers in the West. It is argued that those who criticise occidentalists for not really understanding the West are missing the point, that it is outside of the West that Western influence and power is really felt most strongly, rather than in the West itself.
