Article Abstract:
Issues relating to the way in which universities design their courses are examined from the point of view of design aesthetics and the application of good design principles. It is argued that in the commercial and industrial world, good design is recognised as offering a sustainable and strategic advantage and that good design is innovative, enhances utility, is aesthetic, displays the logical structure of a product, is honest, is enduring and is minimalist.
