...believe parents have the right to choose the sex of their children
Article Abstract:
The senior research fellow at the medical centre of Giessen University, Germany, argues that there are no valid moral, ethical or social reasons why parents should not be allowed to select the sex of their children. The argument is made in the light of a report produced by the House of Commons Science and Technology Select Committee which has sparked claims that advances in reproductive technologies are in danger of upsetting the balance of the sexes and increasing sexism.
