Article Abstract:
The Consumer Electronics (CE) industry witnessed growth for manufacturers and dealers in the year 2004. Shipment of CE products from factories to dealers in the US increased to $113.5 billion in 2004 as compared to $102.6 billion in 2003. Increase in the sales of flat panel displays, MP3 players, satellite radio hardware, and digital cameras contributed to the growth.

Article Abstract:
The 12th Annual Holiday Spending Survey by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) shows that consumers plan to spend less on electronic gifts during the holiday season. The decrease in the overall shipments and the increase in the prices of consumer electronics are also discussed.
