Cellular Mobile Radio
Article Abstract:
Retailers of consumer electronics do not have much of the cellular mobile radio (CMR) market because suppliers are relying on professional sales calls. Retailers vary in their projections for CMRs. Some believe that retail sales will increase dramatically in 1984. Others believe that retail sales of CMRs will take a while to take-off because of high prices and the requirement for FCC licensing. New car dealers, specialized phone installers and autosound dealers should be the first to benefit from CMR retail sales.
