Ever since Time Magazine chose the computer its 'Man of the Year' the media has been taking a growing interest in consumer electronics. All types of media are increased in electronics, from local TV and radio talk shows to major magazines and newspapers. Consumer electronics retailers should be prepared, when interviewed, to answer a variety of questions. Being interviewed, a retailer gets free and neutral advertising.

TV Talk Shows: Filling The Air With Your Expertise

Many consumer electronics retailers are appearing on TV bringing their expertise and explanations to the air. To get on the air, retailers with a good idea for a story can simply call up a station. TV magazines and talk shows have many time slots to fill and consumer electronics retailers deal with products that are glamorous, entertaining and, in some cases, harbingers of things to come.
