Retailers, consumers stock in the promise
Article Abstract:
High-end consumer electronics retailers are reporting brisk sales of high-definition television sets. The retailers attributed the sales to efforts by their sales staff and the manufacturers' consumer education programs which boosted buyers' interest on digital and digital-ready products. However, retailers fear that the period of intense sales will eventually drop once the early adopters acquired their units.
