Creating sales from DTV transition
Article Abstract:
Retailers must inform their consumers of an upcoming digital transition in television by 2009. There will be a cuttoff date wherein all TV stations would send only ATSC signals, older televisions would need a converter box in order to receive these signals. This change will bring about changes in sales of not only TVs but also video components and accessories.
