Dahlberg urges Congress to scrap proposed Btu tax

CEO William Dahlberg of Georgia Power Co told the US Senate Finance Committee that a Btu or energy tax will have a negative effect on the economy. Higher energy costs would hurt industry, creating less ability to compete, forcing layoffs and eventually cause price increases of all products and services.
