Fujitsu Ten devises strategy to offset effects of shrinking U.S. aftermarket

Fujitsu Ten Ltd in FY2001 intends to increase sales of its Eclipse brand car audio products in aftermarkets in Japan, Asia and the US. This is part of a strategy that focuses on the sales of high-value-added products, particularly through specialty stores. High-value-added products include visual equipment, high-end audio devices and car navigation systems. The added-value that the company offers comes through its vehicle-mounted DVD players and its voice-activated Eclipse Commander communication system.

Panasonic equips camcorders with CompactFlash memory cards
Article Abstract:
Matsushita Electric Industrial Company Ltd's PhotoShot PV-L759 and PV-L859 Palmcorder camcorders, which are marketed under the Panasonic brand, are equipped with the CompactFlash memory cards. The CompactFlash cards, which are supplied by SanDisk Corp, can store large volume of images taken by the camcorders and can transfer the images to color printers for output or to personal computers for viewing and editing.
